Netmums product trials: what's it all about?

You may have noticed our colourful 'Netmums Recommended' logo stamped on various products on the supermarket shelves, in stores and even in your own home.

Ever wondered how that product has won such a coveted stamp?

Here's how it works ...

For a product or service to be awarded our sought after 'Netmums Recommended' logo, it needs to have been tested and reviewed by a sample of real families.

After trying a product for a certain duration, we ask these families to give their feedback by answering up to 10 questions on the forum review thread page, including saying either 'yes' or 'no' to recommending the product.

The 'Netmums Recommended' logo will only be issued if:

• 80% of families recommend the product on a trial for over 100 products
• if it's under 100 products, then 90% of families need to recommend it

Once the logo is approved by Netmums, it can be used on all sales and marketing collateral (brochures, adverts, packaging) for 12 months.

If clients wants to extend this, another trial will need to be completed to ensure that families are still satisfied with the product.
