  • 1 tsp fast-action dried yeast

  • 300g strong white bread flour

  • 1 tsp caster sugar

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 200ml tepid water

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  1. Add the yeast to the basket of your bread machine, followed by the flour, then the sugar and salt.

  2. Pour in the olive oil and water. Set the machine to the DOUGH or PROVING function and leave for 30-40 minutes, or according to your bread machine's instructions.

  3. Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 220°C/200°C fan/Gas Mark 7.

  4. Remove the dough from the machine, it should be smooth and springy to the touch.

  5. Divide the dough into two large balls, or four smaller ones. Roll out thinly on a floured surface.

  6. Top with passata, mozzarella and your favourite pizza toppings. Bake on baking trays lined with baking paper for 12 minutes, or until crisp.
