Apple slices filled with peanut butter and granola

2 apples

4-6 tbsp peanut butter or other nut butter

6 tbsp granola

Core each apple and cut each into 6 rings.

Take two equal-sized apple rings and smear each with 1 tsp of the peanut butter. Top one of the rings with 1 tbsp of the granola. Top with the other apple ring, peanut butter side down, to make an applewich.

Carry on with the remaining apple rings and either eat immediately or open-freeze and wrap the frozen applewiches in parchment paper for a convenient healthy snack.
