Banana puree for babies

  • 1 small, ripe banana

  • 2-3 tbsp baby's usual milk

  1. Cut the banana into slices.

  2. Whizz the banana slices and baby's milk together with a stick blender, or mash with a fork until smooth.

When you're ready to add other flavours, try...

Adding 1/4tsp ground cinnamon

Combining fresh fruit purees: avocado, blueberry, blackberry, mango, raspberry and strawberry all work well with banana

Treat them to a chocolate-banana puree by adding 1/2 tsp unsweetened cocoa powder
