Head to Bradford Cathedral for free family activities during the Easter holiday, with crafts, colouring, trails, quizzes and fun for all the family. Family-friendly guided tours take place at 11am and 2pm. You are also welcome to visit the Cathedral with your family and do your own self-guided tour.

Supported by the Mayor of London, 100 Wintershall players bring their electric and moving portrayal of the final days of Jesus to this iconic location in the capital once again this Easter 2023. The 90-minute show is completely free of charge – a gift to Londoners and visitors. The performance is open air with visibility maximised using large screens. There is a realistic interpretation of the crucifixion so parental guidance is advised. This event is very popular – we suggest you arrive 40 minutes before your chosen performance.

Explore the nature in and around the Royal Airforce Museum's grounds this spring. There is a lot of wildlife to be found around the site, especially in spring. Help track the local biodiversity in the trees and a wetland area that critters love to hang out in, by taking part in a Nature Hunt. Pick up a trail guide from Hangar 1 during the Easter school holidays. Simply take a slow walk around the grounds and tick off any creatures you find on your way. Remember to keep your eyes peeled!

Manchester's free-to-visit Pankhurst Centre invites you to meet the 'Suffrage-eggs' and take part in a fun Easter experience with your family this Easter holiday. Inspired by the 'eggstraordinary' story of Emmeline Pankhurst's former home as the birthplace of the suffragette movement, young visitors will be able to follow the Suffrage-egg Trail and decorate their own Emmeline Egg. You can also dress up as a Suffragette and spend some time in the Pankhurst Centre garden, where the purple and white flowers will be coming into bloom for spring.

Stop and smell the roses this spring as Battersea Power Station offers a free spring festival of fun this Easter. The Spring Festival features two weeks of family-friendly activities, including a giant flower trail, an amazing Wriggle & Scribble ‘Power' playground, and even a mobile petting farm. Come say hi to alpacas, sheep, goats and more furry friends from 7 to 9 April. Other activities include face painting and the chance to meet Colin the Caterpillar.

There are two exciting spring events taking place at Ilfracombe Museum this April. Firstly, enjoy a wildflower trail through the museum to find the new exhibition of Lilian Sich's century-old herbarium (pressed wild flower collection). Grab a free pack of wildflower seeds to continue Lilian's legacy. And 7-11 year olds can enjoy an interactive poetry and music workshops with artist Tia Meraki on 5, 7, 12 and 14 April. 'Birds and Words' takes its inspiration from the life of birds and the Ilfracombe Mueum's collection to inspire stories, songs, verses, riddles and raps.
