My only DD is 10.5 and her breasts have developed quite a bit over the last few months. She's in crop tops and seems happy but I'm thinking it might be the time to get her measured for a first bra. She doesn't like talking about anything to do with puberty sadly which makes it hard to have conversations. I think she would find it easier if I measured her at home rather than in a shop. I'm not a professional but could manage following instructions to do this. I was thinking as I might not get the size exactly right I'll order a few different sizes. Any advice? She's my only daughter so finding all of this a struggle!

M&S does both online video call fittings and in store appointments.

I also found tips on this page great (even though their bras are too expensive for my budget). https://www.upliftedlingerie.co.uk/how-to-measure-for-first-bra/

Hi Jenny,

measuring at home might be the best way as she might be too shy to have a stranger measuring her. You could go to the shop and try some on in the fitting rooms. It may also be a good time to pop into boots with her to stock up on some pads and pantyliners.
