Blue Reef Aquarium Newquay

Blue Reef Aquarium is where you can see loads of the fantastic creatures that live in our seas and oceans.

The displays will take you on an undersea tour; from the British coastline to faraway tropical reefs and lots more in between.

During your visit, you’ll come face to face with incredible sealife with everything from giant crabs and lobsters to seahorses and tropical sharks and you’ll get a chance to find out more about these creatures’ amazing lives in over 40 naturally recreated displays.

These naturally themed habitats take you on a fantastic journey from Cornish waters to exotic seas. Come face to face with freshwater turtles, watch pulsating jellyfish and meet amazing pufferfish!

At the Aquarium’s heart is the amazing ocean tank where an underwater tunnel offers incredible views of Omiros the rescued giant Loggerhead turtle, reef sharks and shoals of colourful fish.

Birthday parties are also available at the aquarium.

Last admission April to October 5pm.
Last admission November to March 4pm.
Closed only on Christmas Day.
