My lad is going to his first comic con and rather surprisingly to me he is going all in and dressing up.
It's great seeing how invested and excited he is, but man some of the stuff is expensive if he buys "proper" Cosplay stuff!
He is doing a great job looking for alternatives and is going for a quite a simple outfit this time, but any "pro" tips would be great!
Sorry but what on earth is 'Comic Con' and 'Cosplay'?
My son is 9 and loves all this kinda stuff it's really common now but it is expensive
My daughter is 21yrs old and has been to 2 comic cons in the last year. One in Manchester and the latest Star Wars convention in London. She wore an Anakin Skywalker costume. Believe me it wasn’t cheap. But she saw people there with elaborate costumes to the point where she felt underdressed. One person was dressed up as a Batman AND Mandalorian all in one 😁. Some people also turn up wearing normal clothes and just pop culture clothing
So it doesn’t matter what he wears. Improvise. Or just a character costume that you get from your local supermarket, it all works!
You can ask people with costumes to take pics with you and your child, they really enjoy doing that. He’s going to have so much fun!
