Hello everyone, this morning I had a very embarrassing experience well more so for my daughter.

my daughter is 13 and this morning I noticed her bedroom door was closed and as I hadn’t seen her I thought she was in her room. I was taking something to the bathroom and as the door was open I didn’t think twice about entering. when I walked in I saw my daughter wither her pyjamas pants down masturbating she obviously became very embarrassed, I apologised and walked out however when I saw her in that brief moment I did notice a rather large wet spot well more like a puddle between her legs. How do I explain it is to be kept private and what could the puddle be from.

She's probably very embarrassed I would expect and I expect she'll be more careful in future to not be caught. I wouldn't feel the need to tell her to keep it private unless or until there were a few times she'd done it with an open door or somewhere not private.

The puddle could be secretions, lube, squirt-liquid, urine or even water she'd spilt. I doubt its anything to worry about

I think you're right that she is probably very embarrassed. I bet since she's been seen she will probably keep the door closed from now on. If she doesn't, that would be the moment I would say something, very casual, like, "Oh just a reminder, be sure to close the door to the bathroom or bedroom when you want some privacy so I know not to go in...".

Also, a lot of parents and kids have experienced this – it's a standard bit in teen movies, so rest assured y'all can deal with it and get over the embarrassing moment.

Good luck and keep us informed!
