I've just found out that I'm pregnant my last pregnancy was 13 years ago I don't know how my son is going to take to having a baby sister or brother I've been in contact with my doctor today as soon as saw the two lines I don't know how far along I'm yet I haven't told my partner or my parents the partner will be over the moon as he wants kids but my parents and my son I don't think they will take it very well as its was just myself and my son for a long time we just moved too now a baby on the way I'm almost 36 years old and I know I will be high risk because of my age and my pregnancy with my son he was born at 29 weeks also has autism
Hi Lynsey,
You say that you are worried about what you're mum and son will feel, but how do you actually feels bout being pregnant again? Is any part of your excited about it. If so, I think things will work out in the end. It's natural to worry about what your child thinks, but he may be fine with it. I know he has autism so things are different there, but that doesn't mean it will turn out bad.

In general I'm happy about it I've always wanted another but it will be a big age gap I'm telling my partner tomorrow about the pregnancy I just don't know how far along I'm the last pregnancy was with my son it just how my son will take it I don't want him to feel left out or any jelsously towards the new baby I think once I've talked with my partner we will come up with a plan off action as my son don't have his father in his life he left us then he was about 3 years old so its been just me and him for 10 years
