Advice please - unclean breast pump

Hi everyone, i am hoping for a bit of advice. I am express breast feeding my son, who is 6 weeks old. Running on empty, i picked up the pump and expressed his feed and gave it to him. I now realise that the pump parts hadn't been cleaned or sterilised since yday. I feel absolutely awful and am not sure whether this could make him really sick, hadls anyone got advice on what i should look out for or whether i need to do anything??

Please do not be too hard on yourself. I am sure there will be other parents reading this post that has also done something similar before - we are only human and sometimes we just forget.
How has your LO been since he had the milk? Any signs of an upset tummy at all? If he does, then you can call NHS on 111 for further advice and support.
If your LO remains well. continues to feed well and generally happy it may be that due to this being a one off there is a low risk of harm.
The most important thing is you have recognised where the mistake happened and your normal practice is sterilising which is great.
