Looking for some advice please
I had a visit from social services this week, They told me that they have received an anonymous call that I am involved in a dv relationship, My partner was arrested last month when his ex called the police, she was calling my phone to lie about him cheating with her, my partner leaned over me to get my phone to decline the call but accidentally caught my arm, the call to her connected and she heard me saying ow, she then text me to say she was calling the police, the police came and seen a small bruise (finger mark) on my arm and arrested him (I do bruise easily due to health conditions), they (police) put a restraining order in place, I have retracted my statement and requested for the restraining order to be removed.
ss have said that if I decide to continue my relationship with him then they would need to be heavily involved and my partner would need to be regularly assessed due to his criminal history for fighting ( he suffers ptds from his time in the army and his child hood). He has had no convictions for almost 18 years. He has never been violent or aggressive with me or my daughter in anyway.
Im now extremely worried about what will happen with regards to my 14 year old daughter if we continue our relationship.
