Hi all!
not sure if someone has already wrote a thread about this but here goes....

so a few months ago just after xmas we were a bit skint. my friend suggested setting up another email address and doing loads of competitions, and signing up to certain sites for freebies, so i did , and soooo gald i did!! i now have about a 6 month supply of tooth paste, kids tooth brushes, money off coupons for tesco asda etc, lots of small sachets of washing up powder/liquid, shampoo sachets, baby wipes/kids toilet wipes, toilet roll, make up, oh the list goes on and on!!

anyway just thought i would let you all know how ive managed to save some money by doing this. and by setting up another email address for doing this means my email address i use for other stuff doesnt get clogged up with these offers and sign up emails.

has anyone else got any hints/tips for bagging some freebies?

I used to do this, but then the freebies stopped coming and I ended up getting about a weeks worth of junk mail through my door every day

hey!! whoever you have an email address with just now, for example hotmail, just make another email address for example anniesfreebies1@hotmail.co.uk (sorry if this is anyones email address!) or something you will remember and only use for doing this.

i just randomly google "freebie" sites, literally just out "free stuff" into google and loads come up! it just depends what freebies your after!
you might get some random junk mail through the door but there is almost always a button when your signing up to a site that says "please click this box if you do not wish to recieve any mail" or something like that.

ill go through my browser history in the morning and try to find the sites ive been on recently!

also, online magazines are a good way to enter comps so your not spending your day licking envelopes! haha

i would say though, do this when the kids are in bed, it does get a bit addictive, so grab a cuppy and your laptop/computer when the kids are in bed and get going! i do this maybe 2/3 nights a week when everythings been done and kids are sleeping so i get some peace. its quite fun AND i put my 2lb weight loss down to doing this, because it comes a bit addictive ive not even been thinking about eating! haha.

it might take a few weeks to start getting things though. i signed up to some baby site thing about 6 months ago because they were giving away free kandoo toilet wipes, i got them about a week later then last week they sent me a avent baby bottle, haha, my little girl is 4 so i gave her it for her dollys! lol x

oh and getting a tesco clubcard is also worth it! we didnt usually shop in tesco but we got a clubcard anyway and went in only when offers were on and always used the club card. then to my surprise last week we got a £15 pound voucher from them, weve decided to keep it until we really need it. we also got other money off vouchers.
A man that worked in the store told us at checkout one day that a woman goes into that tesco once a week for little bits and peices, saves her clubcard points and uses them at xmas, he said she had about £200 worth of vouchers. so thats also a good money saving tip! Thank you tesco man!

Free personalised greeting card.

Tesco cards are offering 1 free card per household.

Just go to tesco-cards.com, register with them and choose/design your card.  Choose the Medium card (2.99)  as you will get up to £2.99 off your total.  Before proceeding to checkout it will ask for any discount/voucher codes.  Enter FREECARD1 in the box then proceed, it will deduct up to £2.99 from you total.  Postage is free which means the card is completely free.

I received mine on Saturday so hope offer still stands.

There's a few freebie websites around. But not that many anymore. Freebies usually attach themselves to a purchase nowadays. e.g. Spend £30 get a free X.
