Hi I am currently just over 7 weeks pregnant with my third baby, and absolutely shattered and feel hungover all the time (nautious).

I don't remember feeling this bad with my other two. Wondering if it's a sign it might be a boy this time round!!

Any tips on battling the exhaustion? Finding it difficult at work (won't be telling them until 25 weeks as despite it being a law firm, are very underhand at getting rid of pregnant people!). And difficult to juggle running a small farm and house renovations.

Hoping it gets better in the second trimester. Has anyone experienced it improve after 12 weeks?

Any tips on how to power through or eat better to boost energy welcome.

It could be twins I know that generally can make you more tired and sicky!! Have you had a scan yet? I was shattered with all of my 5 boys more towards the end though

I am pregnant with my second girl. I didn't have any nausea or tiredness first time, but this time the first trimester was tough! So it's not a sign it's a boy I'm afraid. I just tended to nap at lunchtime when I could (I work so wasn't always possible), then it started to eat around 10 weeks so not too long to go x

congratulations

I was fine when pregnant with my first which was a girl, second one a boy and had terrible sickness, heartburn and tiredness, 3rd time carrying I knew it was a boy as I was experiencing the exact same symptoms as my first boy. Everyone is different though so I wouldn’t count on it. I had Omeprazole during my 3rd as I’d never experienced such bad heartburn, perhaps speak to your GP or midwife if it gets bad. Best of luck

Thanks all! Just to add to the stress I lost my job last Friday, unfortunately nothing to prove it was pregnancy related but pretty clear.

Luckily landed another to start the day after but now have new job exhaustion to add to it!

It seems to be easing a little now, the nausea.

X
