Easter is just around the corner, and with the kids getting a couple of weeks off, it's the perfect time to start thinking about some fun activities to try at home to keep them busy.

We've got loads of suggestions for you – from things you can do as a family, like bike rides and woodland walks, to baking , den-making, and gardening.

Another relaxing Easter activity to keep little ones quiet for a while, is to get them to come up with their own Easter story and to write it down.

They can make it like a comic strip too, if they like, and draw pictures to accompany the story.

If they want a bit of inspiration, how about the adventures of the Easter bunny?

The kids can then take turns reading their stories, or acting them out.
