Hi Ladies,

I've literally scoured the whole of internet trying to find recent posts on ladies 40+ conceiving using S.I. Couldnt find any, so I'm starting this one! Like myself, I know you're out there!

A little about myself. I am 43 and I have 5 children from a previous relationship and none with my current husband - ( not through lack of trying!) However its just not happening! Periods were always regular (28 dayer) up until 3 years ago...and they began to become more irractic. Longest I've been without a period during this time is 2-3 months. I know I must be perimenopausal, but I'm not giving up...yet. My mother had my two little sister's in her 40's, one at 42 the other at 44.

Doctors have been pretty non chalant about my concerns, and I've only just managed to get an appointment for bloods this coming Feb.

My husband is younger than me and desperate for our own baby. Where I feel frustrated and feel like giving up because of my age - he remains optimistic and says he just knows it will happen. His mother also gave birth in her 40s.

Anywhoo! Skip to the present...i have just finished my first ever cycle using S.I - I started on 200grms on CD3-CD7. I'm also charting my temps (never did this before) and I take a pre natal daily , aswell as CoQ10, vitamin D & zinc. Currently on CD9 now.

Looking for TTC Soy buddies or any successful stories of women 40+ conceiving on Soy!

Thank you!
(Sorry about long post!)

Ok so I'm now on CD20 and I believe around 6DPO.

Last night I really convinced myself that I was pregnant! I really need to stop! The disappointment is always too much after I've hyped myself up like this!

Tried not to symptom spot too much. BBT has risen and is up. I haven't used any OPKs - as I've tried them in the past and it always seems to read positive - yet yields no results...so not bothering with them. First time I'm temping. It's been a bit of a struggle as I don't always sleep or rise at the same time...so I've just been trying my best!

Hubby is convinced I've conceived this month (bless him)... especially after he saw I was having white creamy cm last night. I've been having a few cramps here and there...even some sharp ones, on both sides, that made me cry out a little. I thought I could even feel a little pressure in my pelvic area...but might be my imagination as I want this so bad!

Trying to keep level headed about all this...but wanted to update for anybody reading.

hi Leanne, nice to see this post. I could have wrote your post..I'm 42 just gone 5 kids and would love just 1 more. I had been on the depo injection for 2 years came off it and last May( got period back January 2020) got pregnant end of April had missed miscarriage beginning of June then got period back middle of July so have been trying since.. I'm on ubiquinol ( actually ran out of this so need to get more), omega 3, vitamin c and boots trying for a baby vitamins. only thing is I don't get much cm during my cycle what do you take that you find helps it ?
this was my first month temping too and found it useful showed me that I indeed ovulated and my temp dipped just a day before period arrived, unfortunately it did so not happy today .
sorry for long post, hope you get good news this month 🙏🤞

Hi Nadine.... how are you...so sorry to read of your loss...I too hope that you get your rainbow baby soon ❤️

As for increasing cm...my dear I could not advise sorry....all this is very new to me! Although the soy isoflavones I'm taking I've read people say it helped them produce more ewcm and bring about strong ovulation. For myself I haven't noticed any stronger O than usual...but like yourself ..doing the temping helped me to identify that I am indeed ovulating...as I was a bit concerned that I wasn't at one point! DH has been smiling like a chesire cat in regards to all the lubrication down there! So maybe it helps!

TTC is soo exhausting! Temping/OPKs-checking cm, checking cervix..etc...honestly I took for granted the days I could just lie back and think big England! 😂😂
